Understanding and supporting Sensory Processing needs in the classroom: From theory to practical application
This is a 2 day course for education staff or other health professionals. First we will look at what sensory processing means. Next we will consider its impact on learning. We will then go on to discuss classroom based strategies. The cost is £375 including drinks, please bring your own packed lunch.
Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April 2024 9am – 3pm
Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Dyspraxia
This one day course will explore the diagnosis of Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Dyspraxia. First we will looking at the many areas of difficulty experienced with this disorder. Then we will work through strategies and practical interventions appropriate to school life. This course costs £190including drinks, please bring your own packed lunch.
Friday 10th May 2024 9am-3pm
We will host these courses at the Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration Centre (DE13 9PD). Places allocated on a first come, first served basis.
