Understanding and supporting Sensory Processing needs in the classroom: From theory to practical application
This is a 2 day course for education staff or other health professionals. First we will look at what sensory processing means. Next we will consider its impact on learning. We will then go on to discuss classroom based strategies. The cost is £350 including drinks, please bring your own packed lunch.
Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th May 2022 9am – 3pm
Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Dyspraxia
This one day course will explore the diagnosis of Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Dyspraxia. First we will looking at the many areas of difficulty experienced with this disorder. Then we will work through strategies and practical interventions appropriate to school life. This course costs £175 including drinks, please bring your own packed lunch.
Tuesday 7th June 2022 9am-3pm
We will host these courses at the Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration Centre (DE13 9PD). Places allocated on a first come, first served basis, maximum 15.
